This Week's Activities

November 3 - Starbuck's Office Hours

Join the chaplain and other Canterbury this Thursday afternoon from 1pm-3pm at the Starbucks on Mac Davis Ln. across from campus. We will hang out, talk about our faith, do homework, and drink some coffee. Coffee is free, so come hang out anytime during the afternoon.

November 3 - Help Decorate for Thanksgiving

Instead of "We Aren't Strangers" this week, we will be decorating for Thanksgiving at 7pm on November 3. We will also be eating soup and salad. For a casual and fun evening, come and hang out with us!

November 6- Confirmation Class

Are you interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church or are you interested in joining the Episcopal Church? If you are, join us on Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm for the next three weeks. We will talk about the history of the Episcopal Church, our way of worship, our beliefs, and our call to be Christians who walk the way of love in the world. We meet upstairs at Canterbury. Come and join us!

November 6 - All Saints Sunday

Join us for worship at 6pm on Sunday at Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry at Texas Tech as we celebrate All Saints' Day. We will worship together, and then we will share a home cooked meal served by the wonderful Episcopalians from St. Paul's. Come for the service and meal or just show up to for meal. All students are welcome!

December 1 - Help to Decorate for Christmas while we watch "Elf" (meal included)

December 4 – Lessons and Carols –Christmas Party and Celebration of Graduates (6pm)

December 19-January 9 – Offices Closed for Christmas Break

Outreach to the Homeless and Working Poor in Lubbock - Would you like to minister to the homeless and working poor in Lubbock, TX? If so, talk to the chaplain about getting on a team for St. Benedict's chapel and soup kitchen. To learn more about St. Benedict's, click here.
