This Week's Activities

October 23 - Confirmation Class

Are you interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church or are you interested in joining the Episcopal Church? If you are, join us on Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm for the next four weeks. We will talk about the history of the Episcopal Church, our way of worship, our beliefs, and our call to be Christians who walk the way of love in the world. We meet upstairs at Canterbury. Come and join us!

October 23 - All Hallow's Eve Service and Halloween Party

First of all, make sure to wear your costumes tonight! Now...

Join us for our All Hallow's Eve (Halloween) Service on October 30 at 6pm at Canterbury. The service will begin at Canterbury and then we will proceed to St. Paul's Columbarium where we will read scripture, including the Witch of Endor (1 Sm 28:3-25), the Vision of Eliphaz the Temanite (Jb 4:12-21), the Valley of Dry Bones (Ez 37;1-14), and the War in Heaven (Rv12:1-12). The readings are followed by a psalm, canticle, or hymn, and a prayer.

Following the service (around 7:15pm), we will have a (dark) Harry Potter themed Halloween Party, complete with dementors and Aragog. We will eat pizza, drink butter beer, and party! We will do a scavenger hunt, carve pumpkins, and eat caramel apples. You won't want to miss this event!

December 4 – Lessons and Carols –Christmas Party and Celebration of Graduates (6pm)

December 19-January 9 – Offices Closed for Christmas Break

Outreach to the Homeless and Working Poor in Lubbock - Would you like to minister to the homeless and working poor in Lubbock, TX? If so, talk to the chaplain about getting on a team for St. Benedict's chapel and soup kitchen. To learn more about St. Benedict's, click here.
