December 2

 Dead Day Study Space - Study for your finals from 9am to 9pm on Thursday, December 2 at Canterbury.  We will provide a quiet place for you to study, and we will serve pizza for lunch at 12:30pm.  

December 3

Bible Study on Romans - Come and join us for an in-depth study of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. The study will take place upstairs at Canterbury at 5pm on Fridays.  For more information about our Bible study, click here. This will be our last Bible Study of the semester.

December 5 

Lessons and Carols and Christmas Party - Today, we celebrate the coming of Christmas with our Advent Lessons and Carols service. During the service,scriptural readings are interspersed with choral presentations and hymn, all ofwhich recall mankind’s longing for liberation from sin and death, and our hopeand expectation for the both the first and second coming of Christ the Lord. Following the service,Canterbury will celebrate the end of the year and the coming of Christmas. We will do a white elephant gift exchange during the party, along with festive treats and games. We will also honor our graduates today as well.  The service begins at 6pm, and dinner begins around 7pm.  Please join us!

Confirmation Classes - Would you like to learn more about your faith, or would you like to join the Episcopal Church?  Our confirmation classes might be the right thing for you.  If you are interested in attending a confirmation classes, let the chaplain know.  You can call or text 575-631-5345.

Serve at the Altar - Would you like to serve at the altar or help to read during the service? Catch the chaplain after the service on Sunday to ask for training times or text at 575-631-5345.

Outreach to the Homeless and Working Poor in Lubbock - Would you like to minister to the homeless and working poor in Lubbock, TX? If so, talk to the chaplain about getting on a team for St. Benedict's chapel and soup kitchen.  To learn more about St. Benedict's, click here.
